Digital UV-VIS Spectrophotometer 371 is a single beam, accurate, reliable and versatile instrument for spectrophotometric analysis of any concentration. The output is available on a 3 digit red seven segment LED display in terms of %%Transmission (%%T), Absorbance (Abs.), and Concentration (Conc.).

An accurate 190.0 to 1000.0 nm wavelength control, with a resolution of 0.1 nm is obtained by microprocessor controlled stepper motor. The wavelength is displayed on 4 digit red seven segment LED display separately. A monochromator using Czerny-Turner mounting technique with 1200 line/mm grating is used

It is an extremely useful instrument for chemical, pharmaceutical, agricultural, biotechnological labs, hospitals, engineering & medical colleges, universities & research institutions.

FAQs of DIGITAL UV-VIS SPECTROPHOTOMETER 371:

Q: How does the DIGITAL UV-VIS SPECTROPHOTOMETER 371 achieve accurate wavelength measurements?

A: The instrument utilizes a high-quality monochromator and stable light sources (deuterium and tungsten halogen lamps), offering a wavelength accuracy of 2 nm and repeatability of 1 nm, ensuring reliable results across the 1901000 nm measurement range.

Q: What are the main applications of this spectrophotometer in the laboratory?

A: It is primarily used for determining absorbance, transmittance, and concentration of solutions, making it suitable for chemical analysis, quality control, and research in laboratories requiring UV-VIS spectrophotometry.

Q: When should the light source and sample cuvette be replaced?

A: The deuterium and tungsten halogen lamps are durable but should be inspected periodically and replaced when output diminishes. The 10 mm standard cuvettes should be replaced if scratched or clouded for optimal measurement accuracy.

Q: Where can this spectrophotometer be installed or used?

A: Designed for laboratory settings, the spectrophotometer can be set up on a stable surface within the operating temperature range (1040C) and requires a standard 230V AC power source.

Q: What is the process for conducting a measurement with this unit?

A: Place a 1 mL sample in a 10 mm cuvette, insert it into the single cell holder, select the operation mode (absorbance, transmittance, or concentration), set the desired wavelength, and the readout will display results on the digital LED screen.

Q: How does the user benefit from its semi-automatic and digital features?

A: Semi-automatic operation simplifies workflow and minimizes user error. Digital output and clear display ensure easy interpretation of results, allowing for efficient and accurate data recording.
