Efficient Anaerobic CultivationThis anaerobic culture jar is tailored for laboratories requiring strict oxygen-free environments for microbial growth. Its pressure-resistant construction maintains internal conditions reliably, and the clear jar facilitates monitoring without disturbing samples. Suitable for a range of scientific and educational applications, the 3.5-liter capacity balances space-saving features with ample sample storage.
User Safety and Easy HandlingWith autoclavable components and a corrosion-resistant, stainless steel gauge, the jar meets standard laboratory safety protocols. The integrated gas release valve allows for controlled depressurization, while heavy-duty clamps ensure a secure, leak-proof seal. Maintenance is straightforward, as the design supports easy disassembly and cleaning.
FAQs of Anaerobic Culture Jar 3.5 Lit. (With vaccum cum pressure gauge):
Q: How does the Anaerobic Culture Jar maintain an airtight environment for samples?
A: The jar uses a heavy-duty clamp system combined with a silicone sealing gasket on the lid, ensuring a leak-proof, airtight closure. This design prevents oxygen from entering, creating the ideal conditions for anaerobic microbial cultivation.
Q: What is the maximum capacity of petri dishes that the jar can hold?
A: This model accommodates up to 12 standard petri dishes, making it suitable for batch experimentation or parallel sample processing in laboratory settings.
Q: When should I use the integrated gas release valve?
A: The gas release valve should be used whenever pressure adjustment or safe depressurization is required, such as after creating a vacuum or before removing the lid post-cultivation.
Q: Where can this culture jar be safely used?
A: This culture jar is compact and lightweight, making it ideal for use on laboratory benchtops. Its manual operation requires no electrical outlet, enhancing its portability and suitability across various laboratory environments.
Q: What maintenance steps are recommended for this anaerobic jar?
A: After each use, disassemble the jar and clean all parts thoroughly. The autoclavable design allows you to sterilize components, and all materials are chosen to resist corrosion and facilitate easy reassembly.
Q: How does the transparent jar benefit the laboratory process?
A: The clear body of the jar enables researchers to observe the cultures and monitor progress without disrupting the internal anaerobic environment, reducing the risk of contaminating samples.
Q: What are the advantages of the manual pressure/vacuum gauge system?
A: The built-in stainless steel gauge provides accurate, real-time pressure or vacuum readings (from -1 to +2 kg/cm) and ensures safe monitoringcrucial for precise and reliable anaerobic testing.
