Precision and Safety in Solvent RecoveryBUCHI Rotary Evaporators deliver reliable results in laboratory solvent removal thanks to their integrated vacuum control and digital temperature adjustment. Overtemperature and dry run protection minimize risks to samples and staff, enhancing laboratory safety.
Efficient Performance for Laboratory DemandsDesigned for maximum efficiency, the R-300 model operates with a robust 1300 W heating power and 1200 W cooling capacity. The use of high-grade borosilicate glass and stainless steel ensures durability, while its semi-automatic controls and data logging interfaces (USB/RS-232) support straightforward operation and documentation.
FAQs of BUCHI ROTARY EVAPORATORS:
Q: How does the integrated digital vacuum controller enhance the rotary evaporators performance?
A: The integrated digital vacuum controller optimizes evaporation by maintaining precise vacuum levels, allowing accurate, repeatable results and efficient solvent recovery in laboratory procedures.
Q: What types of substances can the BUCHI R-300 Rotary Evaporator process?
A: This rotary evaporator can handle a wide range of solvents and liquids, with a measurement range of 21000 mL. It is particularly suited for distillation, concentration, and solvent removal applications in research and chemistry laboratories.
Q: When should the overtemperature and dry run protections be used?
A: These safety features are always active during operation. Overtemperature protection prevents bath overheating, while dry run protection stops the device when the bath runs out of liquid, ensuring safe and reliable evaporation processes.
Q: Where is the BUCHI R-300 typically used?
A: The R-300 Rotary Evaporator is primarily used in laboratory settings throughout pharmaceutical, chemical, environmental, and academic research institutions seeking precise solvent evaporation and distillation.
Q: What are the benefits of using borosilicate glass and stainless steel in the evaporators construction?
A: Borosilicate glass provides excellent chemical resistance and clarity for visual monitoring, while stainless steel offers durability and resistance to corrosion, ensuring longevity and consistent performance in demanding laboratory environments.
Q: How does the adjustable temperature control of the water/oil bath improve laboratory workflows?
A: Adjustable temperature control allows precise thermal management from 20C to 180C, accommodating diverse sample requirements and contributing to efficient, reproducible evaporation processes.
