About Whirling Table

Whirling Table

For demonstrating the effects of rotation or centrifugal force. Can be used in both horizontal and vertical positions. Consists of a heavy cast-metal stand, about 40cm high, a driving wheel, 15cm diameter with a handle and a nickel plated spindle with a small pulley at the top, fitted with frictionless bearings. The spindle is driven by the driving wheel with the help of a belt through the wheel and the pulley. Provision for adjustment of the belt tension. Also provided an adapter socket with non-detachable tightening screw that can be attached to the spindle for mounting various accessories. The table also has an in built clamping system to hold it firmly in vertical position. Complete with spare belt and user instruction manual.
