About Force Table

Force Table

For studying the vector nature of forces and verification of law of composition and resolution of forces. Table made of precision turned circular aluminium disc, with raised rim and is finished with scratch resistant matt black paint. The raised rim has a circular scale graduated to 360°´1° with readings at every 10° interval. The table-top is supported by a sturdy vertical metal pipe and a heavy tripod base with three leveling screws. Four adjustable pulley clamps with index marks can be attached anywhere around the perimeter of the table for performing experiments.

Lightweight suspension cords, which are joined to a central ring pass over the pulleys and ends in a ring for supporting the applied masses. A detachable pin is mounted at the center of the table around which the central ring is balanced by adjusting the masses and position of pulleys to indicate equilibrium of forces. Complete with 4 pulley clamps, 4 slotted weights sets and user instruction manual.
