About CENTRIFUGE TUBE CONICAL BOTTOM
| CENTRIFUGE TUBE CONICAL BOTTOM |
Polylab centruifuge tubes with conical bottom are available in two sizes i.e. 15ml & 50ml. Moulded in Polypropylene, these tubes are clear, strong & safe. These autoclavable tubes are provided with printed graduations on the outer surface. The built in seal ring in the cap makes these tubes absolutely leak proof. These tubes can with stand forceps upto 7500xG & 1200xG for 15ml & 50ml tubes respectively.

Precision Engineering for Laboratory ExcellenceOur centrifuge tubes are manufactured using high-clarity polypropylene, which not only withstands repeated autoclaving but also delivers excellent chemical resistance and visual assessment of contents. Stackable by design, these tubes maximize storage efficiency, while clear graduations and a distinct maximum fill line ensure compliance with accurate laboratory protocols and safety precautions.
Versatile Applications in Scientific SettingsIdeal for centrifugation, sample storage, and broader lab use, these tubes accommodate both low and high-speed operations in research, clinical, and industrial laboratories. Their compatibility with standard-size rotors and tight-sealing colored caps prevent leakage and sample loss during demanding processes, making them a trusted choice for diverse laboratory tasks.
FAQs of CENTRIFUGE TUBE CONICAL BOTTOM:
Q: How do I use the indicated maximum fill line on the centrifuge tube?
A: The maximum fill line is clearly marked to help you avoid overfilling the tube. Always ensure your sample does not exceed this line to prevent spillage or sample loss during centrifugation. This feature also helps maintain tube integrity and accuracy.
Q: What benefits do the stackable design and color-coded caps provide?
A: Stackable tubes save storage space, streamlining laboratory organization. The color-coded caps (blue and orange) allow for easy sample identification and secure sealing to minimize contamination and evaporation risks.
Q: When should I select a 15ml versus a 50ml conical centrifuge tube?
A: Choose a 15ml tube for smaller sample volumes or when centrifugation at up to 12,000 x g is required. Opt for the 50ml size for larger samples and centrifugation at speeds up to 15,000 x g, ensuring compatibility with your rotor and volume needs.
Q: Where are these centrifuge tubes commonly utilized?
A: These tubes are widely used in research, clinical, and industrial laboratories across India, suitable for centrifugation, sample storage, and a variety of laboratory workflows.
Q: How do I ensure compatibility with my centrifuge equipment?
A: Our tubes are designed to fit standard rotors for their respective size. Check your centrifuge manufacturers specifications to confirm compatibility with either the 15ml or 50ml tube dimensions.
Q: What material advantages does polypropylene offer for these tubes?
A: Polypropylene is chosen for its high clarity, chemical resistance, and ability to withstand autoclaving. This ensures reliability, visibility of sample content, and repeated safe use in any laboratory setting.
